We are Jake and Mallory Adkison. We are natives to the CSRA and are so excited to grow our family! We are adopting from Liberia in West Africa. Our hope is to be matched with a young child or a young sibling set. We are so eager to begin our family and we are so thankful for our community's heart for adoption.

Corrie is a Dental Hygienist at Evans Dental Group and Michael is a local State Farm agent. They were married in July of 2010 and have had a heart for children since the beginning. They have been blessed with 3 children - their adopted daughter Olivia Kate (7), and their biological sons Hudson (5) and Ezra (1). Although life is hectic now, they still have room at the table and in their hearts to love and care for another child. They are eagerly awaiting the child God will bring to their family.

The Lord laid adoption on their hearts after battling secondary infertility for years. They're ready to stand in the gap and provide a loving, Christ-centered home for a child in need. They began their adoption journey in 2022 and The Lord has been faithful to confirm this calling over and over throughout their journey. This was God's plan all along, for them to grow their family through the gift of adoption. They look forward to the day when they get to bring their baby home and become a family of four!
To TopMason and Sharon Schmidt live in Grovetown, GA. They met in 2015 and have been married for 6 years. Mason is an Offensive Security Engineer for the Army. Sharon volunteers as a Registered Nurse at Hope Women’s Center. Mason and Sharon are active members of Warren Grovetown where they are surrounded by an incredible church family that pours into them, encourages them, and prays with them and for them. Early in their marriage, Mason and Sharon were diagnosed with unexplained infertility. Through the grief and disappointment of that season, they felt God leading them toward growing their family through adoption. They just didn’t know when it would happen. Earlier this year, they felt God nudging them to step out in faith- trusting Him to provide far more abundantly than they could ask or think. They are so excited to be starting this journey and to be participating in Trot to Adopt!
